The crew of Dell’Oro - Rusconi, driving a 1976 Giulia Super 1300, has sealed the fifth edition of the Autogiro d’Italia.This event has become a fixed appointment in the vintage challenge panorama. The crew of Tomasi - Boschetti, driving a 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, secured second place, while the Pirovano - Ravasi crew drove a 1950 Jaguar XK 120 to claim third place. The elegance prize was awarded to the Riva - Sironi crew, driving a 1957 Jaguar XK 140.
After covering approximately 1600 kilometers divided into six stages, the competitors arrived at Parco il Prato in Arezzo. They started from the city of Giorgio Vasari and passed through Livorno, Maranello, Ravenna, Pesaro, and Senigallia before returning to the starting point, completing the sixth edition of the Autogiro d’Italia. Flag-waving performers from the city of Arezzo welcomed them.
Giampiero Sacchi, the event director, expressed pride and a touch of confidence as they concluded this sixth edition of the Autogiro d’Italia. Despite the immense effort involved, the growing number of participants and the quality of the participating cars demonstrate that this format continues to be successful. Sacchi thanked ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) for their trust over the years, as well as CSI (Centro Sportivo Italiano) and all the sponsors who made this event possible. Looking ahead to 2025, they are already working to provide participants with even more beautiful emotions and sensations.
