2023 Itinerary
Art, history, culture and adrenaline! Never before so many initiatives have been put together to give life to this unique event.
From the well known Leaning Tower in Pisa, the Piazza dei Miracoli, to Tortona, and then to Torino, where we shall be paying tribute to the National Museum of Automobile and to the famous Lingotto, where the italian dream of motorization turned into reality. And again to Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Italy and then down to Biella, with its city circuit, home of the European Grand Prix won by Tazio Nuvolari on the 9th of June 1935. From the beautiful Langhe landscapes to Soragna, in the area of Parma, home of the Food Museums, which will be the beautiful and tasty frame to the whole week. 1.600 Km divided into six legs and at the end, the beautiful seafront of Pisa will be the dropping the curtain down on the 2023 edition of Autogiro d’Italia.

1.600 Km, six legs

From the Leaning Tower to Tortona passing through Versilia, Tuscany’s seaside. We shall be crossing the Apuan Alps, Carrara whose marble caves are known all over the world and the Lunigiana. Latest, we shall be crossing the Ligurian Apennine and reaching the beautiful Piazza del Duomo in Tortona through the roman’s Via Emilia.

Tortona will be our entrance door to the Langhe, a hilly area in the provinces of Cuneo and Asti in Piedmont which is famous for its wines, cheeses, and truffles. We shall be encountering beautiful landscapes in our way to Turin, home of the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile. More than 200 cars, 80 different brands from all over the world. One of a kind automobiles collection.

Before leaving Turin we shall be visiting the testing track on top of FIAT Lingotto factory and the Agnelli Collection, and then we shall me starting our third stage which will take us to Courmayeur, at the French border, the foot of the Mont Blanc. 4.807 m. high, the highest peak in Europe. We shall be taking the most well known Skyway, a cableway which will drop us closer to the peak, at 3.466 m. A beautiful glance of the Alps.

From the Mont Blanc to Biella, where the beginnings of todays Formula One races, the ancient city circuit Formula Grand Prix races were held. On the 9th of June of 1935 Tazio Nuvolari won the first race. 88 years later, on the 9th of June of 2023 we will have the chance to retrace the same roads.

From Biella to Soragna, in the sorroundings of Parma. Arrival is set at the Museo of Parmigiano. The Parma Province Food Museums shall welcome us to show and make us taste their food excellences. History, tradition, culture and gastronomy all put together under one roof.

Collecchio, home of the Museo della Pasta, will be the starting point of our return to base. On our way we shall be visiting the salame and Parma Ham museums and then, through the Garfagnana we shall be reaching the Pisa seaside
